(Bloomington, IL) — City leaders in Bloomington are once again questioning Mayor Tari Renner’s use of a city credit card. The mayor charged a 28-dollar lunch to the city while he was on a leave of absence last month. Last night one city council member asked if that’s allowed. This is the second time in the past few months that Renner has faced questions about his use of city money. Renner is facing an investigation into whether the city illegally bought his girlfriend a plane ticket to Japan back in July.
