(Chicago, IL) — Illinois is going all-in on Chicago as the hub for Amazon’s new headquarters. Governor Rauner and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel yesterday filed the state’s official bid for the company’s HQ2 project. Emanuel says Chicago has the infrastructure, talent, and quality of life that Amazon is looking for. Amazon says HQ2 will be worth five billion-dollars and mean 50 thousand jobs for the winning city.
