(Milwaukee, WI) — Keon Broxton robbed Randal Grichuk of a go-ahead home run to end the game as the Cardinals lost 6-5 to the Brewers in Milwaukee. Carlos Martinez gave up homers to Domingo Santana and Jonathan Villar in the sixth inning to put Milwaukee ahead for good. Tommy Pham homered twice and Grichuk did go deep once for St. Louis.

(Milwaukee, WI) — The Cardinals are saying goodbye to starting pitcher Mike Leake. They’ve traded the 29-year-old right-hander to Seattle for minor-league shortstop Rayder Ascanio. The Mariners also get cash considerations and 750-thousand-dollars of international cap space. Leake was 7-and-12 with a 4.21 ERA in 26 starts with St. Louis this season.
