(Pittsburgh, PA) — Dexter Fowler nailed the go-ahead, two-run triple in the seventh inning as the Cardinals crushed the Pirates, 11-7, in Pittsburgh. Tommy Pham and Jedd Gyorko belted home runs, and Randall Grichuk added a two-run triple for the Cards. Sam Tuivailala earned the relief win and St. Louis ended a three-game slide.

(Chicago, IL) — The Cubs drilled six home runs, but still fell to the Reds, 13-10, at Wrigley Field. Ian Happ homered twice for Chicago, with Kris Bryant, Alex Avila, Javier Baez, and Kyle Schwarber also leaving the yard. Jon Lester got chased in the second inning after giving up seven hits and nine runs.
>>Rangers Rally Past White Sox
(Arlington, TX) — The Rangers rallied from a 4-0 deficit for a 9-8 win over the White Sox in the opener of a four-game set in Texas. Yoan Moncada homered in the first and Jose Abreu went deep in the ninth for the Sox. Chicago starter Reynaldo Lopez had to leave in the fifth with soreness in his side. Lopez took the loss.
>>Ravens Crush Dolphins In Cutler Debut
(Miami, FL) — New Dolphins quarterback Jay Cutler made his preseason debut on Thursday night. Cutler completed 3-of-6 passes for 24 yards as Miami got crushed by the Ravens 31-7 at Hard Rock Stadium. Miami signed the former Bears quarterback to a one-year contract after they learned Ryan Tannehill was going to be out for the season due to a torn ACL. Cutler had experience with ‘Fins head coach Adam Gase in Chicago where Gase was his offensive coordinator.
>>Henne Gets First Team Reps Over Bortles
(Jacksonville, FL) — It was another rough night for Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles. Bortles struggled in his four drives, completing 8-of-13 passes for 65 yards as Jacksonville lost to the Buccaneers, 12-8, at home in preseason action. All four of the possessions ended with a punt. Backup quarterback Chad Henne stepped in and finished the second quarter with the first-team. The starters also played to open the third quarter with Henne, who finished 6-of-10 for 44 yards.

(Arlington, TX) — The Colts continue preseason action tomorrow night as they visit the Dallas Cowboys. The Colts seek their first win of the fall after losing to Detroit in their preseason opener on Sunday. Scott Tolzien is expected to start at quarterback for Indianapolis with Andrew Luck still on the physically-unable-to-perform list.

(Indianapolis, IN) — Colts center Ryan Kelly will be sidelined for at least six weeks as he undergoes surgery to repair a foot injury. Kelly was hurt last Thursday and hasn’t practiced since. He was their first-round pick in 2016 and started every game last season.

(Glendale, AZ) — The Bears continue preseason play against the Cardinals in Arizona tomorrow night. Chicago opened the exhibition slate with a 24-17 loss to the Broncos last week. Head coach John Fox says the quarterback order tomorrow will be Mike Glennon followed by Mark Sanchez and rookie Mitchell Trubisky.

(Bristol, TN) — The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series heads to Bristol Motorspeedway for the Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race. Qualifying takes place at 5:45 tonight, with the 266.5-mile, 500-lap race to follow tomorrow night. There are only three races left until the playoffs begin.
