(Chicago, IL) — Four environmental protesters are facing charges after police say they caused thousands of dollars of damage to Trump Tower in Chicago. The four all made a court appearance yesterday. The judge released them but also warned them to come back for their next court appearance at the end of the week. Police say the four tried to raise a banner that read “resist” and “defend” from the 16th floor of Trump Tower. But the banner caught the wind and caused nearly 25 thousand dollars worth of damage. The four are facing felony criminal damage charges.
