(Urbana, IL) — Fraternities at the University of Illinois are now required to train their members in sexual assault prevention. The school’s Interfraternity Council recently adopted a new, mandatory training for all 42 campus houses. The training is in addition to the two-hour course all freshman are required to take that speaks about the same things. Police say most assaults at the U of I happen off campus, in someone’s home. But officers say they support the training.
