(Chicago, IL) — Illinois’ governor says he worries the state ‘won’t do well’ under the latest plan to change Obamacare. Governor Rauner yesterday said the state may lose out if Congress switches to a block-grant program for Medicaid. Nearly three-million people in Illinois, one in four in the state, are enrolled in Medicaid. A block grant may force Illinois to trim back the number of people on its healthcare rolls or charge them for services.
