>>Jets’ Revis Facing Charges


(Pittsburgh, PA)  —  Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis is facing charges in connection with a street altercation in Pittsburgh on Sunday.  Revis is being charged with aggravated assault, robbery, terroristic threats and conspiracy after two men were left unconscious in the alleged incident.


>>Report:  Romo Expecting To Be Released By Cowboys


(Arlington, TX)  —  Tony Romo’s days in Dallas appear to be numbered.  ESPN reports the quarterback is expecting to be released by the Cowboys.  Romo lost his starting job to rookie Dak Prescott last year.  The 36-year-old Romo has spent his entire 14-year career with the Cowboys.


>>White Sox, Cubs’ Position Players Report Today


(Undated)  —  Position players for the Cubs and White Sox must report to their respective Spring Training facilities in Arizona today.  Both clubs will hold the first full-team workouts of camp tomorrow.  Cactus League play for both teams begins a week from tomorrow.


>>Gonzaga Throttles San Francisco To Stay Unbeaten


(Seattle, WA)  —  The top-ranked team in the nation remains undefeated.  Gonzaga ran its record to 27-and-0 with a 96-61 rout of San Francisco.  The Bulldogs have three games left in their regular season.


>>Butler Free Throws Lift Bulls Past Celtics


(Chicago, IL)  —  Jimmy Butler hit two free throws with less than a second left to lift the Bulls to a 104-103 win over the Celtics at the United Center. Butler finished with 29 points and Bobby Portis added 19 for Chicago, which won its second straight to get to 28-and-29 at the All-Star break.  The Bulls host the Suns a week from tonight.


>>NBA Enjoys All-Star Weekend


(New Orleans, LA)  —  It’s All-Star Weekend in the NBA.  The festivities in New Orleans get underway tonight with the Rising Stars Challenge.  The slam dunk and three-point contests take place as part of All-Star Saturday Night.  The weekend wraps up with the All-Star Game on Sunday.


>>Blues Clip Canucks


(St. Louis, MO)  —  Vladimir Tarasenko broke a 2-all tie 58 seconds into the third period and the Blues went on to beat the Canucks 4-3 in Vancouver.  St. Louis remains third in the Central Division with 67 points, five ahead of fourth-place Nashville.  The Blues skate in Buffalo tomorrow.


>>Crosby Pushes Pens Past Jets In OT


(Pittsburgh, PA)  —  Sidney Crosby capped a milestone night with the winning goal in overtime as the Penguins clipped the Jets, 4-3.  Crosby became the 86th player in NHL history and 12th-fastest to reach one-thousand career points when he assisted on Chris Kunitz’s goal in the first period.


>>Illinois At Iowa Tomorrow


(Iowa City, IA)  —  Illinois is on the road tomorrow at Iowa.  The Fighting Illini have been idle since last Saturday’s 83-70 setback to Penn State.  Illinois has lost seven of its last nine and is 14-and-12 overall and 4-and-9 in the Big Ten.  The Illini won the first meeting 76-64 on January 25th.
