No Prison Time For Former Maroa Supervisor In Theft

(Decatur, IL)  —  A former central Illinois township supervisor isn’t going to prison despite stealing more than 30-thousand in public dollars.  David Williams pleaded guilty yesterday.  He turned himself in for taking the money when he resigned from the Mora Township board.  A judge says Williams has to pay 16-thousand dollars in restitution and serve two years probation.
