Michael Jordan Receives Medal of Freedom From President

(Washington, DC)  —  Michael Jordan is one of over 20 honorees to receive the nation’s highest civilian award from President Obama during his final months in office.  The former Chicago Bulls legend was presented the Medal of Freedom by the president yesterday at the White House.  Other recipients included Bruce Springsteen, Tom Hanks, Robert De Niro, Ellen DeGeneres and Chicago attorney Newton Minow.
