American Cancer Society Encourages Participation In Great American Smokeout

People in Illinois are being asked to participate in the Great American Smokeout today.  The American Cancer Society designates every third Thursday of November as a day to encourage everyone to make a plan to quit.  About 40-million Americans still smoke cigarettes, and tobacco use remains the single largest preventable cause of death in the world.
