(Cleveland, OH) — The Cavaliers are still unbeaten after holding on for a 128-122 win over the Celtics in Cleveland. LeBron James had 30 points, seven rebounds and 12 assists. Kevin Love added 26 points and eight boards as the Cavs improved to 5-and-0.

More than 40-million people tuned in to watch Game Seven between the Cubs and Indians. Only two games surpassed that number, Games Six and Seven of the 1991 World Series between the Braves and Twins.

(Chicago, IL) — The party will be on in full force today in the Windy City. Hundreds of thousands of fans are expected to line the streets of Chicago for a victory parade in honor of the Cubs winning their first World Series since 1908. The parade will begin at Wrigley Field and end with a rally at Grant Park.

(St. Louis, MO) — Manager Mike Matheny will be sticking around for a while. The Cardinals have given the 46-year-old skipper a three-year contract extension through 2020. Matheny took over when Tony La Russa retired after 2011. This was the first year Matheny’s team failed to make the playoffs.

(St. Louis, MO) — Pitcher Jaime Garcia will be back with the Cardinals next season. The team exercised its 2017 club option on the right-hander’s contract yesterday. The 30-year-old Garcia finished 10-and-13 with a 4.67 ERA in 32 games this past season, including 30 starts.

(Champaign, IL) — Illinois is at home tomorrow against Michigan State. The Fighting Illini look to end a two-game skid in which they’ve been outscored 81-to-25 by Michigan and Minnesota. Illinois is 2-and-6 overall and 1-and-4 in the Big Ten. The Spartans have dropped six straight to fall to 2-and-6.

(Chicago, IL) — Corey Crawford kicked away all 38 shots he faced to lead the Blackhawks to a 4-0 win over the Avalanche in Chicago. Crawford has two shutouts in his last three games. Marian Hossa lit the lamp twice for the ‘Hawks, who have won four in-a-row. Artemi Panarin and Jonathan Toews also scored in the victory. The ‘Hawks visit the Stars tomorrow.

(Dallas, TX) — The Blues gave up four goals in the third period and lost 6-2 to the Stars in Dallas. Paul Stastny and Alex Pietrangelo had goals for St. Louis, which has lost four of its last five games and six of its last eight. The Blues begin a three-game homestand tomorrow against Columbus.

(Indianapolis, IN) — The Colts clash with the Packers on Sunday in Green Bay. The 3-and-5 Colts have alternated wins and losses since Week Two, and are due a win after falling to Kansas City last week. They’ll go on their bye week after this game. The Packers are 4-and-3.

(Fort Worth, TX) — The Chase for the Sprint Cup playoffs heads to Texas Motor Speedway for the AAA Texas 500. It’s the second of three races in the Round of Eight. Sunday’s race is at 1:00 p.m.
