>>Jury Clears Rose In Rape Lawsuit
(Los Angeles, CA) — NBA star Derrick Rose is in the clear regarding a civil lawsuit accusing him of rape in Los Angeles. A jury found Rose and two of his friends not liable in the 21-million-dollar lawsuit. Rose’s ex-girlfriend had claimed the Knicks guard and his friends broke into her apartment and raped her while she was incapacitated in 2013.

(Florham Park, NJ) — The Jets are making a change at quarterback. Head coach Todd Bowles is benching Ryan Fitzpatrick in favor of Geno Smith. Fitzpatrick has thrown an NFL-worst 11 interceptions for the 1-and-5 Jets this season.
