>>Dodgers Defeat Nats In NLDS G5 To Advance

 

(Washington, DC)  —  The Dodgers are moving on to the NLCS.  Justin Turner’s two-run triple capped a four-run seventh inning and the Dodgers held on for a 4-3 win over the Nationals in the deciding Game Five of their NL Division Series in D.C.  The Dodgers will play the Cubs in the NLCS beginning tomorrow in Chicago.

 

>>ALCS Begins Tonight

 

(Cleveland, OH)  —  The ALCS between the Blue Jays and Indians gets underway tonight in Cleveland.  Each team is coming off three-game sweeps.  Toronto’s Marco Estrada opposes Cleveland ace Corey Kluber in Game One.

 

>>Chargers Hold Off Broncos On “TNF”

 

(San Diego, CA)  —  The Chargers are celebrating their first division win in nearly two years.  Philip Rivers threw for 178 yards and a touchdown as the Bolts beat the Broncos 21-13 on “Thursday Night Football.”  San Diego had lost its previous 10 against AFC West foes dating back to November 2014.  The Broncos fell to 4-and-2 with their second straight loss.

 

>>Panthers’ Newton Full Participant In Practice

 

(Charlotte, NC)  —  Panthers quarterback Cam Newton may be back on the field this week.  The Pro Bowler was a full participant in practice yesterday for the first time since suffering a concussion in Week Four.  He needs final clearance from a team doctor and an independent neurologist before he can play Sunday against New Orleans.

 

>>One-Win Bears Welcome One-Win Jaguars

 

(Chicago, IL)  —  It’s a battle of one-win teams as the Bears welcome the Jaguars to Soldier Field on Sunday.  The Bears are 1-and-4 after losing to the Colts 29-23 in Indy.  Brian Hoyer has played well filling in for starter Jay Cutler, throwing for over 1,000 yards with six touchdowns and no interceptions.

 

>>Colts Visit Texans

 

(Houston, TX)  —  The Colts seek to gain ground in the division standings as they visit the Houston Texans on Sunday.  Houston leads the AFC South at 3-and-2, while the Colts and Titans are 2-and-3.  The Jaguars sit at 1-and-3.

 

>>Illinois Looks To End Skid At Rutgers Tomorrow

 

(Piscataway, NJ)  —  Illinois is hoping to halt a four-game losing streak tomorrow on the road at Rutgers.  The Fighting Illini lost to Purdue in overtime last Saturday to fall to 1-and-4.  The Scarlet Knights are also 1-and-4 after getting routed 78-0 by fourth-ranked Michigan last weekend.

 

>>LSU-Florida Reschedule Game For November 19th

 

(Gainesville, FL)  —  LSU and Florida are rescheduling their game for November 19th in Baton Rouge.  The game was originally scheduled to be played in Gainesville last weekend but was postponed due to Hurricane Matthew.

 

>>Chase Playoffs Head To Kansas

 

(Kansas City, KS)  —  The Chase for the Sprint Cup playoffs head to Kansas Speedway for the Hollywood Casino 400.  It’s the second of three races in the Round of 12.  Jimmie Johnson already secured a spot in the Round of Eight with a win at Charlotte last week.  Sunday’s race is at 1:15.
