(San Diego, CA) — The Chargers are celebrating their first division win in nearly two years. Philip Rivers threw for 178 yards and a touchdown as the Bolts beat the Broncos 21-13 on “Thursday Night Football.” San Diego had lost its previous 10 against AFC West foes dating back to November 2014. The Broncos fell to 4-and-2 with their second straight loss.

(Charlotte, NC) — Panthers quarterback Cam Newton may be back on the field this week. The Pro Bowler was a full participant in practice yesterday for the first time since suffering a concussion in Week Four. He needs final clearance from a team doctor and an independent neurologist before he can play Sunday against New Orleans.
