Four games are on the opening night schedule, with Toronto at Ottawa, St. Louis at Chicago, Calgary at Edmonton and Los Angeles at San Jose. The defending Stanley Cup champion Penguins raise their banner tomorrow night at home against Washington.

(Champaign, IL) — Illinois football hits the road Saturday for a game at Rutgers. The Fighting Illini fell 34-31 in overtime to Purdue this past weekend. It was the fourth straight loss for Illinois, which is 1-and-4 overall and 0-and-2 in the Big Ten. Rutgers lost 78-0 to fourth-ranked Michigan to slip to 2-and-4.
