The St. Teresa volleyball team has played a strong schedule to start the season and it didn’t get any easier on Tuesday night when St. Teresa traveled to take on Mt. Pulaski. The Bulldogs fought tooth and nail all night long to come away with the victory in three sets, 25-18, 23-25, 25-19. St. Teresa set the tone in the first set taking an early lead but Mt. Pulaski would fight back and tie up the match after they took a tight second set, 25-23. The Bulldogs didn’t back down as they battled to win the third set and match to move to 5-10 on the year. Abby Robinson had a big game offensively for the Bulldogs tallying 14 kills and Lexie Huck led the team with 17 assists. Skylar Hayes and Abigail Fitzgerald combined for 31 kills for Mt. Pulaski and Isabella Wade added 15 assists. St. Teresa will return to action tomorrow night at home against Central A&M.
