(St. Louis, MO) — Kyle Hendricks took a no-hitter into the ninth as the Cubs cut down the Cardinals, 4-1. Jeremy Hazelbaker led off the frame with a solo home run to break up the bid. Hendricks was removed after the homer but improved to 15-and-7 with the win.

(Chicago, IL) — The White Sox smacked 16 hits in an 11-4 rout of the Indians. Todd Frazier, Avisail Garcia and Adam Eaton all homered for Chicago, which scored at least a run in every inning. Miguel Gonzalez pitched into the seventh to improve to 4-and-6.

(Boston, MA) — David Ortiz launched his 536th career home run as the Red Sox ripped the Orioles, 12-2. Ortiz tied Mickey Mantle for 17th on the all-time list. Boston remains two games ahead of Toronto in the AL East.

(Indianapolis, IN) — North Carolina’s controversial bathroom law is costing the state more sporting events. The NCAA is pulling seven championship events, including opening-weekend games in the men’s basketball tournament. Charlotte lost the NBA’s All-Star Game over the law.
