MacArthur started off the season with a win and then lost three in a row until Thursday night when they ended their three game skid with a straight sets victory over LSA, 25-20 and 25-13. MacArthur was able to battle through a tough first set and then wrapped it up with a quick win in set two, to move them to 2-3 on the year. Raven Sherill led the Generals with five kills, Maleeyah Joyner recorded nine digs and Jayka Pealer added 10 assists. LSA was led by Lauren Jones four digs and senior Kyra Clark added four assists. MacArthur will return to action Tuesday night at Springfield and LSA now 0-2 will take on Decatur Christian on Tuesday.
