A severe thunderstorm rolled across Edgar County Friday evening, dumping heavy rains and producing damaging winds. The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning at 2:48 in the afternoon, which included the city of Paris.
Several reports of tree limbs being blown onto a few homes and 9 location on the east side of Paris having power lines knocked down. A few other reports from viewers: Tree on house on Parrish St. There is a tree on a car on East wood St. West End avenue near sunset park trees are down across the road. Also, there is a tree and power line down on Hazel Ave. Power lines down on the 400th block of Okalla St.
