(Chicago, IL) — The Braves blanked the White Sox, 2-0, in the rubber match of a three-game set at The Cell. James Shields gave up both runs over seven-and-two-thirds innings to fall to 2-and-3. Jose Abreu had three of Chicago’s six hits.

(Milwaukee, WI) — Matt Adams and Randal Grichuk both homered and knocked in two as the Cardinals beat the Brewers 5-1 in the rubber match of a weekend series at Miller Park. Stephen Piscotty also plated a run for the Redbirds. Mike Leake struck out 10 over seven innings of one-run ball as he improved to 6-and-7.

(San Diego, CA) — It’s the All-Star break in Major League Baseball. The Nationals, Cubs and Giants enter the break atop their respective divisions in the National League. The Orioles, Indians and Rangers are all in first place in the American League.

(San Diego, CA) — The All-Star festivities begin tonight with the Home Run Derby in San Diego. Chicago’s Todd Frazier will defend his title in the eight-man, single-elimination tournament. Mark Trumbo, Adam Duvall, Robinson Cano, Giancarlo Stanton, Wil Myers and Carlos Gonzalez will also compete.

(Wimbledon, England) — Great Britain’s Andy Murray is a two-time Wimbledon champion after beating Milos Raonic in the men’s singles final. Murray defeated the Canadian in straight sets, 6-4, 7-6, 7-6. This is Murray’s third career Grand Slam title.

(Paris, France) — Portugal is celebrating its first major soccer championship. Eder scored in the 109th minute to give Portugal a stunning 1-0 win over France in the Euro 2016 Final. Portugal pulled out the win despite losing star Ronaldo to a knee injury.

(Sparta, KY) — Brad Keselowski rolled to his second straight Sprint Cup win in the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway on Saturday. A week after winning at Daytona, Keselowski clinched another win and a spot in the Chase. Carl Edwards finished a close second, followed by Ryan Newman.
