Chicago streets were lined with people on Tuesday morning trying to get tickets to the Tony Award winning show “Hamilton”, as some fans arrived 24 hours in advanced to purchase tickets. According the Chicago Sun Times, tickets were reselling on StubHub.com for as much as $8,000 per pair. Fox 32 News in Chicago reported that with ticket prices that high there are always concerns for phony tickets. The Better Business Bureau is warning that thieves are already using the internet to take advantage of people rushing to get their tickets. There is also a way to get tickets for cheap: 44 tickets set aside for every performance will be sold in a lottery for just 10 dollars.
