Sports News for Sunday May 29th, 2016

The Chicago Cubs beat the Philadelphia Phillies 4-1.   Dexter Fowler homered for the Cubs.   Kyle Hendricks picked up the win for Chicago.

The St. Louis Cardinals knocked off the Washington Nationals 9-4.   Matt Holliday hit a home run for the Cards.  Adam Wainwright picked up his fifth straight win for St. Louis.

The Chicago White Sox lost a wild game to the Kansas City Royals 8-7.   The White Sox led by six runs in the 9th inning but gave up 7 tally’s in the bottom of the inning.   Tyler Saladino and Avasail Garcia homered for the White Sox.   Tommy Kahnle took the loss in relief for Chicago.

The Indianapolis 500 hits the starting line at 11AM for its 100th running.

The Golden State Warriors forced a deciding Game 7 in the NBA Western Conference Final by beating the Oklahoma City Thunder 108-101 in OKC.  Game 7 will be in the Bay Area, California.
