>>Thunder Stun Warriors In Game One

 

(Oakland, CA)  —  The Thunder erased a 13-point halftime deficit en route to a 108-102 win over the Warriors.  Oklahoma City held the defending NBA champs to 14 points in the fourth quarter to take a 1-0 lead in the Western Conference finals.  The Warriors host Game Two tomorrow.

 

>>Cavs Host Raptors In Game One

 

(Cleveland, OH)  —  The NBA’s Eastern Conference finals get underway tonight as LeBron James and the Cavaliers host the Raptors.  Cleveland is 8-and-0 in this year’s postseason, but Toronto won two of the three regular-season meetings between the teams.

 

>>Pens Get Even With Lightning

 

(Pittsburgh, PA)  —  The NHL’s Eastern Conference finals are even at a game apiece.  Sidney Crosby scored 40 seconds into overtime to give the Penguins a 3-2 win over the Lightning.  Tampa Bay hosts Game Three tomorrow night.

 

>>Blues Host Sharks In Game Two Tonight

 

(St. Louis, MO)  —  The Blues host the Sharks in Game Two of the Western Conference finals tonight.  Faceoff from Scottrade Center is at 7 p.m.  The Blues lead the best-of-seven matchup one-game-to-none after a 2-1 win in Sunday’s series opener.  The teams head to San Jose for Game Three on Thursday.

 

>>Cardinals Host Rockies Tonight

 

(St. Louis, MO)  —  After an off-day, the Cardinals are back at Busch Stadium tonight for the start of a nine-game homestand.  The Rockies are in first for a three-game series, with Jaime Garcia opposing Colorado’s Chris Rusin at 7:15 p.m.  The D’backs and Cubs also visit on this homestand.

 

>>Cubs At Brewers Tonight

 

(Milwaukee, WI)  —  The NL Central-leading Cubs begin a nine-game road trip tonight in Milwaukee.  They play the first-of-three against the Brewers, with Kyle Hendricks starting for Chicago and Chase Anderson on the bump for Milwaukee.  The Cubs will also play at San Francisco and St. Louis on this trip.

 

>>White Sox Host Astros

 

(Chicago, IL)  —  The White Sox and Astros begin a three-game series tonight on the Southside.  Chicago sits atop the AL Central with a record of 24-and-14.  Carlos Rodon gets the ball tonight for the Sox.  Houston will send out Dallas Keuchel [[ KIE-kull ]].

 

>>NBA Draft Lottery Tonight

 

(New York, NY)  —  The 2016 NBA Draft Lottery takes place in New York this evening.  The Bulls are expected to land the 14th overall pick after finishing 42-and-40 this past season.  Chicago has a less than one percent chance at being awarded the number-one pick.

 

>>Report: Lincecum Close To Signing With Angels

 

(Anaheim, CA)  —  The “Freak” is nearing a return to the big leagues.  Yahoo! Sports reports Tim Lincecum is close to signing with the Angels.  Lincecum threw in front several major league teams last week in Arizona.  The 31-year-old won back-to-back Cy Young Awards and is a four-time All-Star.

 

>>Broncos’ Sanchez Has Surgery

 

(Englewood, CO)  —  Peyton Manning’s potential replacement will be on the shelf for a little while.  Broncos quarterback Mark Sanchez is recovering from surgery to repair a ligament in his non-throwing hand.  He is expected to miss the first few days of Organized Team Activities next week.
