The Cubs are moving on to the National League Championship Series. Chicago clinched a spot in the NLCS for the first time since 2003 with a 6-4 win over the Cardinals in Game Four of their Division Series at Wrigley Field. It’s the first time Chicago clinched a postseason series win at home in franchise history.
The NL Division Series between the Dodgers and Mets is going the distance. Los Angeles forced a Game Five with a 3-1 win in New York last night. Clayton Kershaw struck out eight over seven innings of one-run ball for the Dodgers, who will host the decisive Game Five tomorrow night.
It’s win or go home for all four American League teams still alive in this year’s playoffs. A pair of decisive Game Fives are on tap today. The Blue Jays will host the Rangers in Toronto, while the Royals will clash with the Astros in Kansas City. The winners will meet in the AL Championship Series.

Former NBA player Lamar Odom is fighting for his life after being found unconscious and unable to breathe in a Nevada brothel. The 35-year-old Odom had reportedly been at the brothel for days. He recently divorced from reality TV star Khloe Kardashian.
